  • MOPS

MOPS is a program for moms with kids ages 0-preK. We seek to create a place where moms can feel welcomed, loved, and served. We desire to assist young moms in the challenges of being a mom through relationships with mentor moms and speakers. We also desire to introduce moms to the idea of following Jesus.. We create a space where friendship and connections can be made. Childcare is provided by members of the church. MOPS meets twice a month (1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month during the school year) from 9:15-11:30AM. There is a small fee for those involved but financial help is available. Space is limited for childcare due to fire code regulations. Download a registration form here.

  • Small groups

Small groups are essential to our church. They promote friendship and fellowship in our church, create space to process and talk about the sermon, and provide a time of prayer for those in the group. Groups meet throughout the island and are sermon-based.

  • Men's ministry

The men's ministry has several bible studies held throughout the week in different locations throughout the island. We coordinate an annual men's retreat with the other regional churches in our denomination and we are a part of coordinating quarterly men's breakfasts with the other churches on the south end of the island.

  • Missions

Hillside has a long and deep commitment to missions. We support many missionaries, including several in closed countries. We believe that God has called us to be a part of his work not just in our local community but also throughout the world. Our church has committed 20-25% of its budget towards missions.
